Project Synopsis

Exchanging information based on location is critical in today's world. Indoor positioning is a crucial technology that allows location-based services to work effectively indoors. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons have emerged as the most effective technique for indoor positioning because they are efficient, low energy consuming, inexpensive, and designed with simple insulation devices. Education is one of the fields that use location-based resources and disseminates location-based information to numerous people daily. Using BLE beacon technology, this study aimed to build an artefact that could enhance information sharing in higher education institutions via mobile devices. BLE Beacons, mobile application, web application, web API, and database are the main component of the proposed artefact.
