Project Synopsis

With the sale of the 156.59/16 netblock to offshore interests, public addresses that were extensively used on the School of IT & Business' teaching network needed to be migrated to an RFC1918 netblock. IP address usage across endpoints on the school network was audited and then replicated in a virtual environment. A migration plan was developed and implemented in the virtual environment prior to being rolled out to the production environment. ein use needed to be verified
